Overview
The Staff Selection Commission Regional Headquarters North Eastern Region has issued an official notice regarding the Phase XIV 2026 Selection Posts Examination. This update introduces specific provisions for candidates applying for the Vocational Instructor posts across various trades under post category numbers NE11526 to NE14426. To ensure alignment with the prescribed Recruitment Rules, candidates holding a valid National Craft Instructor Certificate or Craft Training Scheme qualification are granted an additional ten percent weightage of the total marks in the Computer Based Examination, amounting to twenty marks out of two hundred. This benefit applies to all vocational instructor categories except women training. Qualification details and certificates will be verified and certified by the respective User Department during the document verification stage. All other terms, conditions, and provisions outlined in the original examination notice published on April 13, 2026 remain unchanged.
How to apply

Step 1: Complete One-Time Registration (OTR) on the SSC portal (https://ssc.gov.in) or mySSC mobile app with Aadhaar authentication.

Step 2: Access candidate dashboard and click on Apply under Phase-XIV/2026/Selection Posts Examination.

Step 3: Select Region and Post Code for the relevant Vocational Instructor post (NE11526 to NE14426).

Step 4: Capture real-time live photograph and upload scanned signature (10-20 KB in JPEG format).

Step 5: Pay the application fee of Rs. 100 (if non-exempted) online via BHIM UPI, Net Banking, or Cards.

Step 6: Submit application and print out copy of submitted form for record.
