Bihar Police Sub-Ordinate Services Commission has released a recruitment notification for the post of Adhinayak Lipik in the Bihar Home Guard service cadre under the Home Department, Government of Bihar. The recruitment drive aims to fill 64 vacancies through a direct selection process. Eligible male, female, and third-gender candidates who are Indian citizens are invited to apply online. To be eligible, applicants must have passed the Intermediate (10+2) or equivalent examination as of the specified cut-off date and satisfy prescribed age limits and physical measurement standards. The selection procedure consists of two main stages: a written examination and a physical efficiency test. The written exam comprises objective-type questions based on a matriculation-level syllabus covering subjects such as Hindi, English, Mathematics, Social Science, Science, General Knowledge, and Current Affairs. The written test is qualifying in nature, and shortlisted candidates in a 1:5 ratio per category proceed to the Physical Efficiency Test. The PET evaluates performance across running, shot put, and high jump events. Final merit lists and recruitment recommendations are determined solely based on total marks obtained in the physical efficiency events.
